This pumpkin smoothie is not only delicious, but it’s healthy too. This smoothie is rich fiber and nutrients. Pumpkin is a wonderful source of vitamin A and beta-carotene. The chia seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, rich in antioxidants, iron and calcium.

 


Method

  • Add pumpkin, apple, milk, honey, flax seed, nutmeg powder, chia seeds & ice cubes together.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour in a glass sprinkle cinnamon powder on top of it.
  • Serve chilled.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin – 50 gms (puree)
  • Apple – 50 gms (chopped)
  • Unsweetened low fat milk – 1 cup
  • Honey – 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder – ½ tsp
  • Nutmeg powder- 1 pinch
  •  Roasted Flax seed – 1 tsp
  • Chia seeds – 1 tsp
  • Ice cubes – 1 handful
