It can also come as a salad or can be used for breakfast or even dessert. With so many different shapes, there are countless possibilities for pairing pastas. You can have lots of fun switching shapes for different recipes.

Whole grain pasta and ingredients in the salad has added more health benefits like protecting against stomach and colon cancers. It can help you lose weight. Pasta is low in sodium. Many foods high in salt content can lead to heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes. As It’s low in fat. Pasta can help keep blood sugar regulated due to its low glycemic index. Method

  1. Heat the water with salt.
  2. After the water starts boiling add the pasta and garlic clove.
  3. To avoid sticking add oil.
  4. Drain the pasta and discard the water.
  5. In a salad bowl, add pasta, cucumber, onion, tomato and herbs and toss.
  6. For seasoning - Grind the remaining garlic, remove in a small bowl add oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and stir it to mix well.
  7. Add the seasonings in the pasta and garnish it with some pomegranate.

Ingredients

  • Pasta – 30 gms (whole wheat)
  • Onion – 20 gms
  • Tomato – 20 gms
  • Cucumber – 20 gms
  • Olive oil – ½ tsp
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Oregano – ¼ tsp
  • Dry basils – ¼ tsp
  • Herbs – ½ tsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper and salt – as per taste.
